In 1998, after working for more than ten years as a communication systems developer for Opsion Innovation, Marc Simoncini created i(france), a consumer internet portal designed to provide web surfers with free tools such as free email, hosting services for personal sites, agendas, etc. In 2000, Marc Simoncini sold i(france) to Vivendi Universal before developing Meetic.

Philippe Chainieux is a graduate from the prestigious Ecole Centrale engineering school. In 1994 he created SC Multimédia, one of the first French web agencies, which he sold in 1998. This was followed by a stint as an internet access manager at Pinault-Printemps. In 2000 he joined i(france), the web portal created by Marc Simoncini, as a Business Development Director, subsequently becoming Managing Director with particular responsibility for the diversification of the company's revenues. After i(france) was sold, Philippe Chainieux moved to Cegetel as the head of the CRM (Customer Relationship Management) department with responsibility for marketing in the private and business segments (primarily customer relations, the brand loyalty programme and customer policy). He joined Meetic as Customer Marketing Director in September 2004 and became Managing Director in September 2006.

A graduate from the HEC business school with a master's in political sciences from the University of Columbia, Sandrine Léonardi started her career in 1993 as Senior Management Controller at Europe 2, inter alia managing the integration and consolidation of 60 local radio stations with the national station. In 1998, she joined Louis Vuitton Malletier (LVMH) as Financial Controller for Europe with responsibility for 19 subsidiaries. In 2000, she became CFO at i(france), the web portal created by Marc Simoncini. In 2004, she co-founded Malinéa, publishers of the cashstore.fr site. In September 2004 she moved to Meetic. Sandrine Léonardi is currently Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Secretary.

With a DEA high-end diploma in mathematics, Emmanuel Prevost began his career in 1996 as an ISP project manager for the Golden Brick web site. In 1998 he joined Cegetel as head of corporate web customer engineering. At the end of 1999 he joined Internet Telecom (France Telecom group) as Technical Director. In November 2001, he became an active participant in the creation of Meetic. Emmanuel Prevost is currently Technology and IT Director.
