A large profile base
In December 2008, the Meetic sites hosted almost 6.5 million active profiles, up from 1.84 million active profiles in 2005, based on 10 to 80 criteria (name, age, gender, etc.). Active profiles are defined as profiles with activity during the previous 90 days.
Technological and commercial expertise
Meetic owes its success largely to its technological and commercial expertise and the quality of its services. The Group continues to enrich its technological and commercial know-how and to strengthen its partnership policy.
Thanks to this momentum, Meetic enjoys better recognition than any other brand in the European online dating markets where it is established (TNS survey, January 2009 - brand recognition among a population sample shown a list of sector brands). In France, 95% of the people who knew at least one dating site mentioned Meetic. Meetic's weight in survey results was 57% in Germany, 83% in Italy and 82% in Spain.
Major partners
Meetic's rapid growth allows it to forge partnerships with major online and mobile service providers in France and other countries, such as the European partnership signed with MSN in June 2009.
A high cash flow
The Group generates significant net profit and a high cash flow despite strong growth and heavy investments to establish the Group's brands, particularly Meetic, and to enrich the services catalogue. All these investments are financed internally.
